At the San Antonio Black Doula Collective (SABDC), we believe strong communities are built through connection, education, advocacy, and collective care.

SABDC welcomes community members, students, birth workers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and others who want to contribute their time and talents to support our mission and the families and birth workers we serve.

Ways to Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities may include:

Community events and outreach, Event setup and registration, educational workshops, administrative support, fundraising and sponsorship outreach, social media and communications, photography or videography, resource organization, community engagement, maternal-health initiatives, and special projects.

Have a professional skill you would like to contribute?

We also welcome volunteers with experience in areas such as grant writing, nonprofit administration, marketing, graphic design, accounting, legal services, healthcare, education, technology, and program development.

For the actual Volunteer Interest Form must be (18+) We are looking for individuals who are dependable, respectful, community-minded and aligned with SABDC’s mission and values. Certain volunteer roles involving families, sensitive information, or specific programs may require additional screening, training, confidentiality agreements and background checks.
